Hello, my name is Dave Damianakes. I started Bay Area Tech Writers in 1994 with one purpose, to pay off my whopping $6000.00 student debt. It’s a puny amount now, but I had never owed anyone that much money. Back then, I noticed that many people had a disconnect with the high-tech products and services they pay for. So, I made it my mission to help connect them.
Because Bay Area Tech Writers focuses on a low- and non-technical audience, we do not specialize on one technology or technical field. Thus, we bring few assumptions into our work and our perspective stays fresh. This makes it easier to write to our audience.
Among other subjects, we have worked with:
DVD, Architectural CAD, 3D Graphing, Oracle Implementations for Enterprise and Government, Handheld Devices, CMS, Semantics, Audio Testing, EDI, Two-factor Authentication/Security, Encryption, On-line Marketing, Compliance and Standards, Health Care, Health Insurance, Currency Trading, Scaffolding Business and Modeling, SaaS, Manufacturing, Emergency Communications, Big Data, Patch Management, HIPAA Security, Distribution and Transmission Vegetation Management, Utility Pole Clearing
We have worked extensively with startup companies. We understand the pressures and problems that come with getting that first and second version of a product out to the public and helping them become comfortable with the new product.
